Walking around before the show; Waiting for Laurie

Just a few pictures from when I was walking around in between Red's afternoon sound check and his evening peformance. Laurie doesn't arrive until later.

First, the "Fabulous Fox," a great old theatre, and The Sun, a faded theatre with hints of a great past:

This is a weird structure that I thought was a temple or a mosque or maybe some Mason headquarters or something, but then I noticed it might actually be...a bowling alley!?

The "New Cathedral," and the seat of the Catholic diocese. I met a very nice woman from D.C. who urged to watch more EWTN.

Strange sculptures from SLU.

Just before I went in to check out Red's concert, I stopped in the Creepy Crawl, a local rock club. It was free. I stayed for one song. The operate by the old rule that says if you can't play well, play loud. They turned it up to eleven.
